Anyone who has played Grand Theft Auto knows about Cluckin’ Bell. First introduced in GTA San Andreas almost 20 years ago, Cluckin’ Bell is the game’s fictional take on a classic American fast food chicken joint such as KFC or Bojangles, and is full of the iconic GTA satire of American excess.
This week at San Diego Comic-Con the restaurant made its transition from the digital sphere to the real world, and its designer BoyWorldWide pulled out all the stops. Complete with a “Do Not Serve” poster for Trevor, (one of GTA’s main characters), and the game’s fictional Sprite, “Sprunk,” the restaurant goes above and beyond with its attention to detail and immersion.

In all honesty, the restaurant looks as good as any other real life fast food establishment, and although its creators called it a four day “art performance,” I see no reason why it can’t grow and become a real life chain. At the very least we hope to see it make an appearance at the next Comic-Con, or a different video game convention, so we can all go and “taste the cock.”
